The Juried Art Show is a series of competitive art exhibitions presented by Central Art Supply Company. Gallery openings are held at The Studio@620 in downtown St. Petersburg, FL. Original artworks, recently created, by current and exciting local Florida artists. Be part of this fantastic Tampa Bay arts event. The Juried Art Show is now accepting submissions for the March 2012 show.

The Juried Art Show 2012

RECENT ORIGINAL 2D works including, but not limited to: printmaking,
painting and drawing. Work must have been completed within the past two years.

Our Juror for The Juried Art Show 2012 is Julia Kristmundsdottir. Julia was born in Reykjavik, Iceland, and currently lives in Tampa, Florida where she is an instructor of Painting and Drawing at the University of Tampa. She received her MFA in painting at the University of New Orleans in 1998.

Her work has been exhibited in numerous exhibitions and shows in the US including The Arthur Roger Gallery in New Orleans, the New Orleans Contemporary Art Center, The Art Center in St. Petersburg, and a range of other different and varied settings. She has also participated in various shows in Reykjavik, Iceland, and a public display in Pretoria, South Africa. Her work has been reviewed in various publications and she remains involved in promoting and working with various art associations.
